Map data terms
The map is a free community resource assembled from public records. These terms distinguish the underlying public facts from Palisadian’s original compilation, analysis, code and presentation.
What you may do
- View and search the map for personal, journalistic, research and community-information purposes.
- Link to the live map and share screenshots that visibly credit palisadian.com.
- Quote limited map information with attribution and independently verify important decisions against the official source agencies.
What requires written permission
- Automated or systematic extraction of the Palisadian compilation, including harvesting parcel records through scripts, agents or repeated API requests.
- Republishing a substantial portion of the compiled map, mirroring the service, creating a substitute map, or reselling the compilation.
- Using the compiled map output to train, fine-tune, benchmark or populate an artificial-intelligence product or commercial database.
- Bypassing technical limits, access controls or usage monitoring.
Ownership and sources
Underlying government records remain subject to the rights and terms of their respective sources, including Los Angeles County GIS, CAL FIRE DINS and the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety. Individual public facts are not claimed as exclusive property.
