Pacific Palisades Community Council (PPCC)

Community advocacy + a fuller government-contacts directory

Maintains an ongoing fire-recovery updates page and a directory of government & agency contacts. Election results were announced September 10; the new Area and At-Large representatives' two-year terms begin October 1. The board approved its Two-Year Strategic Plan and its comment on the federal block-grant funding formula. The next meeting is Thursday, September 24, via Zoom; the agenda is pending. PPCC expects presentations on Village median improvements and Palisades evacuation planning. Applications for Alternate Area and At-Large seats are due 5 p.m. Saturday, September 19. PPCC's weekly Fire Disaster Relief Support Group runs Wednesdays 5–6:30 p.m., September 9 through October 28, and the council is urging residents to complete its follow-up PPCC–NORC community survey to guide recovery advocacy.
